Bangladesh Test skipper Shakib al Hasan has welcomed Nurul Hasan as the captain of the T20I side for the upcoming Zimbabwe series.
According to the champion all-rounder, Sohan is capable of leading the side while he also praised Bangladesh Cricket Board for taking such a bold move.
BCB decided to rest Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim in the T20’s against Zimbabwe.

"I think he is capable and the BCB thought that Sohan will be able to give a lot of things to Bangladesh cricket in future, which is the reason he was appointed captain of the T20I side. I wish him all the best and I hope the upcoming Zimbabwe series will be a challenge he will be able to overcome," Shakib told the media during a commercial endorsement in Chattogram on Saturday.
