Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan will leave the country tonight to play in the ongoing Caribbean Premiere League.

BCB officials confirmed that Shakib will depart at 3:20 AM on Tuesday (September 6) to take part in the competition.

BCB earlier granted him NOC (No Objection Certificate) to play in the tournament where he will play for Guyana Amazon Warriors as replacement for South African left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi.

Shakib will not be available in the preparation camp of Tigers ahead of the upcoming T20’s tri-series involving Pakistan along with host New Zealand.

BCB is trying to go to New Zealand earlier than schedule to have a preparation camp.
