England all-rounder Moeen Ali said on Sunday that he is sad with the departure of Ashley Giles and Chris Silverwood following the Ashes debacle as they tried to do best for the players.
’It’s always sad when people leave. They are good guys and they all have done a great job but end of the day everything is about results and we had poor Ashes and these things happen as the job is not forever,’’ Moeen told reporters on Sunday in Sylhet, where he is preparing with Comilla Victorians to take part in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League.
