Bangladesh all-rounder Mehedy Hasan said on Wednesday that they need to adjust with the hectic international schedule as professionals while added that they need to refresh their mind quickly in order to do well in the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

Mehedy Hasan and Taskin Ahmed returned to Dhaka from West Indies on Wednesday while the rest of the cricketers will arrive today in two different flights after completing a long tour in the Caribbean playing two-Test along with three ODI’s and as many T20’s.

Bangladeshi cricketers will hardly get enough time to recover as they will be heading towards Zimbabwe for a white-ball series, scheduled to start from July 30.

Tigers are expected to leave Dhaka for Zimbabwe in the third week of this month to take part in the series. The T20’s squad will leave on July 26 while the ODI’s squad will leave on July 30 to take part in the series.

Mehedy told reporters at the Shah Jalal International Airport upon arrival that they are not losing their mind on hectic international schedule as they are aware that they need to adapt with it.

‘’Look we are professional cricketers and we have to play (against Zimbabwe). I feel we have to play in this manner till the time we play as professionals we have to play in this manner (adjusting with the hectic schedule and remain ready mentally),’’ Mehedy told reporters on Wednesday.

‘’Look we might get four days (to rest) and later we will go to Zimbabwe to play and later in quick span of time we will have lot of games. So we feel the quicker we refresh mentally the better and the four days we have in hand we must enjoy it with our family,’’ he said.

‘’If the players are mentally refreshed the better,’’ he added.

The three match T20Is have been scheduled on July 30, 31 and August 2 at the Harare Sports Club Ground while the one-day internationals will be held on August 5, 7, and 10 respectively at the same venue.

The T20I matches will start at 5:00pm Bangladesh Standard Time while the ODIs will commence at 1:30pm.
