Bangladesh Cricket Board officials said on Thursday there will be spectators in Bangladesh Premier League, the country's franchise based tournament, subject to government clearance.

‘’This is a worldwide concern because the corona situation is changing. Sometimes corona increasing and sometimes decreasing and so we will decide about spectators' entry according to corona scenario and Government's plan,’’ said Nizamuddin.

‘’So far we decided BPL will be held from January 20 to February 20. Last date of team submission is December 5. So far everything is going normally,’’ he said.

‘’Omicron variant has not rise in the country yet but we will have to reconsider if there is any instruction by government,’’ he said.
