Bangladesh all-rounder Mehedy Hasan urges his team mates to guard against complacency as they still have 10 valuable points to gain despite clinching the three-match ODI’s series against Afghanistan.
Bangladesh earlier had paid the price of taking their opponents lightly when they lost 10 valuable points against Sri Lanka at home after winning the opening two games.
‘’As the series is the part of ICC ODI Super League, we all know every point is now important whatever the score line of the series is and so we need 10 points that are on the cards now ," Mehidy told reporters at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Monday.
"When a series is won, there is something like that in the back of the mind( like being a bit relaxed) but more important than the series win is the 10 available points and so there is no chance to stay relaxed,’’ he said.
