Bangladesh batter Nazmul Hossain insists that his side can still save the match despite staring at defeat in the series concluding second Test against Pakistan at Dhaka.
''We have to start well tomorrow. If Shakib bhai and Taijul bhai can add a few more runs, it will help us in the second innings. That's the most important thing: we have to bat well in the second innings. The wicket was difficult. I didn't think it is anything impossible. We haven't lost the game yet. We still have one more day in hand. We can save the game if we bat well. It is not impossible to save this game,’’ Nazmul told reporters on Tuesday.
The hosts found themselves in deep trouble by the time stumps were called as they finished with 76/7 in reply to Pakistan's 300/4 declared, requiring another 25 runs to avoid the follow on. "I think we can survive,'' he added.
