Comilla Victorians holed their nerves to earn a four-run win over Khulna Tigers in a last-over thriller in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League at Sylhet International Stadium on Saturday.

Batting first, Comilla posted 165-2 in 20 overs with the help of Mohammad Rizwan and Liton Das' half-centuries.

Both the openers hit cautious half-centuries as Rizwan scored 54 off 47 deliveries and Liton smashed a 42-ball fifty with nine boundaries.

Johnson Charles hit five sixes to score a stormy innings of 39 runs in 22 balls while Khusdil Shah remained unbeaten on 13 runs.

Wahab Riaz and Nahidul Islam took one wicket each for Khulna Tigers.

Khulna needed 5 runs in the last delivery when Yasir Ali was on strike but Mosaddeq Hossain held his nerve and nailed a yorker to beat Yasir.

Yasir left bemused while Comilla celebrated on the other side. Andy Balbirnie top-scored with 38 off 31 balls aided by five 4's and a six.

Shai Hope scored 33 off 32 balls and Mahmudul Hasan Joy hit 26 off 13 while Yasir remained unbeaten on 30 runs.

Naseem Shah picked up two wickets while Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman and Mosaddeq Hossain took one wicket each.
