Wicket keeper Nurul Hasan Sohan has been added to the Bangladesh squad for the two- match T20 series against Afghanistan.

Bangladesh Cricket Board chief selector Minhajul Abedin told reporter that Nurul was included as precaution considering Mushfiqur Rahim had injured his thumb.

"We have included Nurul because Mushfiqur got injured today and he is doubtful for the series opener," said Minhajul on Wednesday.

Mushfiqur got injured in the net in his thumb and got injured on Wednesday.

BCB physician said they will keep him under obervation for 24 hours though nothing serious was revealed in the scan.
