Defending champions Comilla Victorians head coach Mohammad Salahuddin said on Sunday that he expected Decision Review System (DRS) in Bangladesh Premier League from the start as feels Bangladesh Cricket Board is financially solvent.
BPL governing council announced on December 31 that DRS will be available only on the eliminators and the final of BPL as they are unable to bring it earlier considering companies providing the technology are busy with other international commitment or other franchise tournament.
In the last edition of BPL non availability of DRS took a toll and BCB received severe criticism for not being able to manage DRS on time and it is likely to be the same case this year round as well.

“This is such a big tournament so naturally if there is no DRS in place naturally we will feel bad. For one bad decision you might lose the tournament,” Salahuddin told reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Sunday.
“I think you (board) possesses a lot of money so there should have been DRS (from the start) in this kind of tournament because you don’t have any shortage of money,” he said.
“So I feel naturally there should be DRS in this kind of tournament,” he added.
