Rangpur Riders skipper Nurul Hasan is likely to be unavailable before the Sylhet phase of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, country’s lone franchise-based T20 tournament.

Nurul sustained side strain injury while batting in the net on January 16 that forced him to miss the game against Khulna Tigers at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium today.

It was learnt that Nurul might need seven days to recover fully and if that is true than the wicket-keeper batsman will only be available when BPL goes to Sylhet phase, scheduled to begin from January 27.
