Bangladesh national selectors declared a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20 series against Pakistan.  

BCB decided to rest experienced campaigner Mushfiqur Rahim was rested for the T20’s.

‘’We have rested him from the T20’s against Pakistan as we have back to back Test series and he is a very important player for us,’’ said chief selector Minhajul Abedin on Monday.

Saif Hasan, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Shahidul Islam, and Akbar Hossain were included in the squad as four new players while senior and experienced players Sakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar and Rubel Hossain were excluded.  

Bangladesh squad: Mahmudullah Riyad (captain), Saif Hasan, Naim Sheikh, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Afif Hossain Dhrubo, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Sheikh Mehedi, Aminul Islam Biplob, Mostafizur Rahamn, Shariful Islam, Taskin Ahmed, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Nasum Ahmed, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Shaidul Islam and Akbar Ali
