Both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Easwaran scored hundreds to pile more misery on the hosts Bangladesh A as India A finished the second day of the first unofficial Test with a massive 292-run lead at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday.
Jaiswal struck 145 off 226 balls while Easwaran made 142 off 255 balls as the pair put up a 283-run partnership for the opening stand before India managed to reach 404-5 in their first innings at stumps of day two after resuming an overnight score of 120-0.
Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam was the most successful bowler as he picked up 3-148 while pacer Khaled Ahmed took 2-71.
Earlier, Bangladesh A were bowled out for 112 runs in their first innings on the opening day of the four-day game.
