Bangladesh ODI skipper Shakib al Hasan said that he don’t think they had any psychological edge over Pakistan despite their opponents coming into the game after losing four consecutive matches.

“They can feel this way too that (Pakistan having an edge over us) as they are playing against us who conceded five losses on a trot,” said Shakib.

“I don’t want to rate any team at the moment. We have a very important game tomorrow and that is true for Pakistan as well considering they would also like to win the game.

“The team that will play well will win and we want to play better than Pakistan so that we can win in the game,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Pakistan coach Grant Bradburn said that they are well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents ahead of their crucial game against Bangladesh.

Pakistan’s semifinal hope is hanging in balance after they won just two games out of six matches.

“We don’t want to dwell too much on the past, we’re very much looking forward. We know Bangladesh very well. We’ve played them in the Asia Cup. We’ve played them before. As I said, this is a new venue for us. But we’ve done our homework and we’re very much looking forward to putting our best in the park over these next three games,” said Bradburn.
