The Bangladesh Premier League officials on Monday hinted that they are ready to change the schedule of tournament in the coming days.

‘’Basically there is no other alternative than doing this tournament at this point of time and probably in the next year or the year after it will not be a problem as it can be better if we do it a bit earlier,’’ Ismail Haider, BPL governing council member secretary told reporters at Mirpur on Monday.

The BCB earlier fixed the dates of the BPL for the coming three years. The 2023 edition of the BPL will run from January 6 to February 16, BPL 2024 will be held from January 6 to February 17 while the BPL 2025 is scheduled for January 1 to February 11.

The Bangladesh Premier League franchises is finding it hard to sign the overseas T20 stars for the upcoming edition of the tournaments as its date is clashing with Australia's Big Bash along with UAE's ILT20 and South Africa's T20 league.
