BPL Bangladesh Premier League governing council announced on Saturday that they will give BDT Two Crores to the champions of the tournament, country’s lone franchise-based tournament, scheduled from January 6.
Ismail Haider Mallick, BPL GC member secretary, told media after a meeting of the BPL governing council members and franchise officials at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium that they will give TK Four Crores as prize money for the cash-rich tournament.
“The champion team will get TK Two Crore while the runners-up team will get TK One Crore and overall we are spending around TK Four Crore on prize money,” Mallick told reporters at SBNS on Saturday.
