Bangladesh batsman Anamul Haque is eyeing to take his domestic form to international cricket as he is getting ready for the second Test against West Indies.

The right-handed batsman is all set to make a return to Test cricket after eight long years as team management is eyeing to include him in place of either Nazmul Hossain or Mominul Haque due to their prolonged lean patch.

’These kinds of things (averaging well in first-class cricket) always give me confidence at the back of my mind that I could take myself to place from where I can see these things and it always boost me up and it is in the back of my mind and it will help me and this is a big experience for me because I have played first-class cricket for so many years,’’ Anamul told reporters at St Lucia on Wednesday.

‘’Each and every player have the dream that he becomes experience and he can utilize it. I am hopeful that the experience will help me and I can contribute for my nation,’’ he said.

‘’You all know that I have been called in the national team after eight years so this is a big opportunity for me and it’s a great chance to show that I really love Test cricket. I am excited and will try to follow the process the way I have played first-class cricket. I don’t want to change anything from the way I have played so far in first-class cricket and would like to do that,’’ he said adding that though he was practicing with white ball cricket before being called to join the squad he is eyeing to make his opportunity count if that comes his way.

‘’This was true that I was called up for white ball and I was practicing with white-ball but to be honest I have said this and believe that I love Test cricket a lot and I am very passionate about it and if I get an opportunity certainly I will try to grab it,’’ he said.

Anamul said that he feels at the moment his job is to make sure that they can prevent the batting order collapse that is hurting them for quite some time.

‘’What I am thinking is that if I get a chance I will try to give my best and so that I can help in putting a good score in the score board for Bangladesh team. It is very important that we must prevent the falling of early wicket as well as keep the score board moving and that is very important for me,’’ he said.
