Afghanistan team survived a huge corona scare as all the members of the touring party tested negative on Wednesday paving ways for the series to proceed as per schedule.

‘’They (Afghanistan) are expected to have practice match tomorrow after all their members were found corona negative,’’ a BCB official confirmed Daily Cricket on Wednesday.

The upcoming series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, comprised with three ODI’s and two T20 internationals, came under doubt after several members of the camp was tested Covid-19 positive recently.

The Afghanistan team is scheduled to fly to Chattogram on February 19 to play the ODI series beginning on February 23. The next two games are scheduled on February 25 and 28 while both the teams will travel to Dhaka for the two T20Is on March 3 and 5.
